DFC partners with the private sector to mobilize capital, address critical global challenges, foster sustainable economic growth, and advance U.S. foreign policy objectives through a wide range of financial instruments, including equity investments, debt financing, risk insurance, and technical assistance. Under the U.S.-Ukraine Mineral Resources Agreement, DFC plays a key role in the newly established Reconstruction Investment Fund (RIF). The Fund, jointly managed by DFC and Ukraine’s Public-Private Partnership Agency, will be supported by revenues from new mineral and hydrocarbon projects as well as U.S. contributions.
This meeting will be an opportunity to inquire about DFC’s priorities in Ukraine, the structure and goals of the Fund, and potential avenues for cooperation.
