The meeting was devoted to discussing OECD current priorities, areas for further cooperation with the business community, and implementation of 4-year Country Programme (Programme) launched on June 7, 2023. The Programme is focused on Ukraine’s reconstruction and recovery priorities, while also supporting its OECD and EU accession goals. It addresses such critical long-term structural issues as tax policy and administration, corporate governance, public governance, integrity and anti-corruption, competition and environmental policy. Consisting of 38 member states, the OECD works with a plurality of other countries, organisations and stakeholders worldwide. It is a global policy forum that promotes policies to preserve individual liberty and improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world. The OECD has been working in close partnership with Ukraine for more than 30 years to support its ambitious reform agenda. Since February 2022, the OECD has broadened, deepened and strengthened its engagement and co-operation with Ukraine – now a prospective OECD member.
