AmCham members delivered energy and waste management priorities to Olga Buslavets, Acting Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection:
- Importance of reaching a mutually agreed solution with renewables industry investors and the Ministry’s position on the proposed terms
- The necessity to provide 100% payments for produced green energy
- Prospects of holding balancing capacities auctions and legislative initiatives on energy storage
- Ways of improvement of the Guaranteed Buyer’s creditworthiness and debts settlement in the wholesale electricity market
- AmCham members’ concerns on the starting date of application of transmission tariff on electricity export operations
- AmCham proposals on the Draft Technical Regulation of natural gas and the annual gas reserve stock
- Status of signing Production Sharing Agreements with investors and the Ministry’s plans for further distribution of hydrocarbon licenses
- Ministry’s engagement in promotion of Draft Law #3438 supported by AmCham
- Update on drafting the new Subsoil Code and AmCham’s proposals thereto
