On May 18, 2022, the Chamber held an online meeting with MP Danylo Hetmantsev, Head of the VRU Committee on Financial Issues, Tax and Customs Policy, Secretary of the National Council for the Recovery of Ukraine from the Consequences of the War (National Council).
The meeting was devoted to the discussion of problematic issues related to customs regulations, export of grains and oil, the further development of the healthcare system, improvement of the financial system functioning, modernization of Ukrainian water utilities and waste management, as well as deregulation in the field of telecommunications and other urgent topics.
The experts of Chamber member companies and MP Hetmantsev agreed on the importance of cooperation between the Chamber and the National Council, especially in terms of engagement of our experts to the development of the Recovery Plan.
The National Council is an advisory body to the President of Ukraine, its main task is to develop a Recovery Plan for post-war reconstruction and development of Ukraine. The National Council includes 23 working groups dedicated to different issues.
