At present, the only company in Ukraine is known to have acquired the AEO status with our support in 2021. After that, in October 2022, Ukraine became the 36th country to have acceded to the NCTS Convention, which substantially has changed the approach to execution of customs formalities, thus, opening up business opportunities available in the EU countries.
Furthermore, the Law 2510 (“Customs Visa-Free Arrangement”) was adopted in August 2022 to streamline the procedure of acquiring the AEO status and to allow benefiting from certain simplifications (without acquiring the AEO status).
