As the Law #4778-IX “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts regarding Prevention of Emergencies and Elimination of Their Consequences, Formation of a Civil Protection Protective Structures Fund, and Establishment of Safety Classes and Centers” is set to enter into force on September 8, 2026, the meeting will be devoted to discussing the practical aspects of shelter construction and related implementation requirements, including:
- interpretation of object categorization provisions
- criteria for adequacy of shelter types for different public buildings
- approval of design solutions and practical approaches to the expert review process
- object alignment with urban planning documentation
- engineering, accessibility, and operational requirements for shelters
- application of the new requirements to ongoing projects
The meeting will be held in Ukrainian. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
The meeting will be held under Chatham House rules and is open for employees of Chamber member companies only.
