The webinar highlighted the key aspects of legal regulation of work with Ukrainian subsoil, which has significant potential in the global market. The focus was on legal issues of mineral extraction, including the specifics of the industry's functioning during the martial law period. Investment mechanisms, particularly the legal regulation of production-sharing agreements, were also considered, as well as an analysis of the current case law in the field of subsoil use. Particular attention was paid to the challenges faced by investors, lawyers, and representatives of the extractive industry in the current environment and the search for effective legal solutions to overcome them.

Nataliia Khmelovska, Associate, Sayenko Kharenko. Nataliia has over 15 years of practical legal experience, including 7 years in the energy sector. She has over four years of experience working with the largest private gas production company in Ukraine and more than two years supporting both state-owned and private traders and suppliers of electricity and natural gas. Currently, Nataliia advises clients at Sayenko Kharenko. She provides legal counsel on investment projects in Ukraine and ensures compliance with Ukrainian legislation. Her expertise also includes legal support for production-sharing agreements.
