On January 1 this year, Law of Ukraine № 3295-IX came into force that granted the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine new powers in the field of protection of economic competition. From now on, the AMCU will have the explicit right to conduct inspections of companies, including access to premises, sealing, seizure and confiscation of property. Practical application of provisions introduced by the Law raises many questions among lawyers, businesses, judges and the AMCU itself.
Questions for discussion:
- Overview of the latest changes in antitrust law
- Judicial control over the inspections of business conducted by the AMCU
