The webinar highlighted the challenges of developing in-house energy generation for businesses amid rising electricity costs and instability in the energy market. Participants received practical guidance on implementing energy projects, securing financing, ensuring legal compliance, and utilizing new market instruments. The event targeted managers of medium and large companies in the agricultural sector, retail, manufacturing, food processing, light industry, and other sectors, whether they already have energy generation facilities or are planning to install them.

Questions for discussion:

  • How can the operation of in-house generation be optimized to maximize profitability?
  • Can investing in in-house generation be profitable? How can future energy facilities' financial and economic performance be calculated to support well-informed management decision-making?
  • How to attract financing for in-house generation projects in a profitable way?
  • What legal requirements regarding licensing, permits, and approvals must be considered to avoid fines and other risks both during the setup and the operation of energy equipment?
  • New market instruments: what opportunities do they offer for those planning to invest in or manage energy generation facilities?
