Did you know that colorectal cancer (CRC) is no longer a disease of "only the elderly"? In recent years, doctors have been sounding the alarm: the incidence among young people aged 20 to 49 is increasing by approximately 1-2% every year. Moreover, it is predicted that by 2030, this type of cancer could become the leading cause of oncological death in people aged 20 to 49. The figures sound serious, but there is also good news: this is one of the types of cancer that is easiest to prevent if you learn about it in time.

That is why March is recognized worldwide as Blue March – colorectal cancer awareness month, symbolized by a blue ribbon and attention to one's own health. On this occasion, we are holding a meeting where, without "medical Latin" or complex terms, we will discuss the importance of prevention, regular screening, and early detection, which significantly increase the chances of a full recovery.

Questions for discussion:

  • main risk factors and symptoms
  • modern methods of screening and early diagnosis
  • prevention and the importance of regular check-ups
  • common myths and the truth about the disease
  • practical advice on maintaining health and timely consultation with a doctor
