During the webinar, we will discuss the link between chronic stress, workload, and cardiovascular risks, including hypertension. Participants will receive practical recommendations on recognizing warning signs, preventing cardiovascular diseases, developing healthy habits, and maintaining a balance between work and personal health in everyday life.
Speaker:
Larysa Mishchenko, cardiologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Arterial Hypertension and Comorbid Pathology, State Institution “National Scientific Center “M.D. Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology, Clinical and Regenerative Medicine’” of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.
Her research interests include optimizing the treatment of patients with hypertension based on identifying predictors of disease progression; the pathogenesis of resistant and malignant arterial hypertension; and the development of new as well as the improvement of existing treatment methods. As an expert in the field of arterial hypertension, Larysa Mishchenko is actively involved in educational and outreach activities in partnership with the Public Health Center, represents Ukraine as a speaker at international congresses, and is the leader of the national educational program MISSION 50/28.
