Knowledge Seminar for IT Directors

According to the PWC survey of 2021, 77% of companies will keep remote work a permanent option for their employees even after the end of quarantine restrictions. Thousands of companies worldwide – from American oil giants to Ukrainian retail networks and banks – were attacked by cybercriminals during the period of 2020-2021 (cybercriminals used distant work systems and social engineering). That is why the issue of protection of remote work comes to the 1st place.

During the online meeting, we shared with you the best practices in the organization of secure remote work, which derive from the recommendations of the responsible authorities for cybersecurity in the United States and Ukraine and the SAFE Remote Work architecture, which was developed by Cisco Systems and implemented by the most leading companies around the world. Participants told about how cloud services affect the architecture of remote work.

On the example of the real case of INGO Insurance Company, we considered what IT security issues arose in the insurance company before the project, what solutions were offered by the system integrator AM-BITS, and how a comprehensive on-premise solution allowed a large insurance company quickly (only for four days) and safely switch to remote work, ensuring the functionality of all business processes.
