When it comes to international business and supply chains, foreign partners' country plays an important role. It also applies to opportunities it opens for your business. The country of origin of goods impacts taxes, benefits and preferences, permits and prohibitions. In other words, it determines the opportunities or potential risks for business in the supply of goods originating in certain countries.

The country of origin of the goods is essential for customs clearance. As well as the classification of goods plays an important part in determining the country of origin correctly.

Yulia Pyndus, Consultant in the field of foreign economic activity, Capital, Agency of Customs Brokers. Yulia has 14 years of practical experience. She is the head of AmCham Ukraine Working Group on Authorized Economic Operator, speaker at KPMG Insight Academy, Kyiv Logistics School, PLASKE Academy, Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other organizations. Yulia is a lecturer at the Kyiv National Economic University in the field of foreign economic activity.

Ivan Galatenko, Consultant on customs legislation, Capital, Agency of Customs Brokers. Ivan is an expert on the classification of goods. He worked in the department of control of customs value and nomenclature of Boryspil and Kyiv customs and Kyiv Customs' customs clearance.
