Knowledge Seminar

The 2020 harvesting season was followed by huge price hikes due to certain weather and market conditions. Such a situation raised lots of defaults and disputes on crop and payment recovery. Our webinar aimed to review the recent legal trends in litigation, international arbitration, and enforcement connected to the mentioned issues. We discussed the main features of such disputes and offered certain practical instruments for an efficient defense of rights and interests. The latest court practice has been a subject for discussion as well.

During the meeting we discussed:

  • International arbitration or domestic litigation: which is a better place for a crop dispute resolution?
  • User guide to Force Majeure in supply and forward contracts
  • Dealing with defaults: domestic litigation practice
  • Key features of crop enforcement
  • The outlook for the season 2021
