Protection in criminal proceedings continues to hold the palm of the hand among the most popular areas in the Ukrainian market of legal services, as criminal risks are present in almost every field of activity.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, in January-November 2021, 668,486 criminal proceedings were registered and more than 67,000 sentences were announced. For its part, the Business Ombudsman Council reports that about 14% of complaints from business representatives relate to the law enforcement system.
Discussions at the IV International Criminal Law Forum to be held on February 23, 2022 in Kyiv will focus on the latest trends in the industry, major changes in criminal and procedural law, criminal law challenges for business, current case law in various categories of crimes.
