The meeting was devoted to discussion of the recently registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine new Draft Laws regulating IT Industry:
- Draft Law #4303 “On Stimulating Digital Economy Development in Ukraine”;
- Draft Law #4305 “On Amendments to Criminal Legislation on a Special Procedure for Investigating Criminal Offenses in Order to Ensure Appropriate Conditions for the Digital Economy Development”.
Mentioned Draft Laws are basis for establishing “Diia City”, virtual free economic zone for IT companies, startups and venture funds with special legal, tax and finance regimes, which, if established, will impact the IT industry’s operation in Ukraine.
