The scale of the damage to the medical infrastructure is constantly increasing because of military aggression, and the number of injured military and civilians is growing. A total of 1474 medical facilities have been damaged, 194 have been destroyed, and more than 50,000 adults and children have lost limbs. While the number of injured is growing, Ukraine is losing its valuable human capital.
A key priority in the post-war recovery of national health is the development of an efficient national rehabilitation system and the creation of new medical centres, reconstruction surgery departments, prosthetic centres, refurbishment of current healthcare facilities, reconstruction of destroyed ones, and training of specialists. It all requires extra funding and support from other countries and partners who are committed to Ukraine's victory.
ReBuild Ukraine: Health & Rehabilitation - is an international offline platform aimed at supporting medical recovery projects, as well as technologies, equipment, and investments for rehabilitation and restoration of human potential and rebuilding of medical infrastructure at the community and national levels.
The event will be a follow-up to successful exhibitions - ReBuild Ukraine and ReBuild Ukraine powered by Energy which were held in February and November 2023 and have exceeded the expectations and demands of key stakeholders - international manufacturers, the Ukrainian communities, and global partners.
The organizer: "Premier Expo" with 23 years of experience in the organization of international fairs and conferences, and annually hosts more than 20 international public events.
ReBuild Ukraine: Health & Rehabilitation will bring together three parties of the reconstruction process - medical projects, manufacturers of medical equipment, and financial institutions.
The exhibition includes:
- The National Pavilion "Ukraine and its medical recovery projects”. Among the participants are: Superhumans Center, Valikhnovski Surgery Institute, Medical Center NOVO, Irpin Community, and others.
- Marathon of Rehabilitation, Medical Recovery, and Infrastructure Reconstruction Projects.
- Intergovernmental press briefing with representatives of the EU, the Ukraine, and other countries.
- Donors and Investors Conference.
- An exposition of medical equipment, technologies, and solutions. Country pavilions from Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, France, Finland, Sweden, United Kingdom.
- Networking and business communication.
ReBuild Ukraine: Health & Rehabilitation is an international initiative that brings government agencies, international financial organizations, rehabilitation centres, medical projects, Ukrainian communities, and their medical institutions, as well as representatives of foundations and investment companies, and international development agencies together on a common transparent platform to facilitate proactive participation of businesses and partners in the reconstruction of the healthcare sector in Ukraine.
