On May 7, hromadske will host its annual conference. This year, it is titled “A War of a Woman’s Kind.”
It’s a conversation about strength that often goes unnoticed. About leadership that defies expectations. About responsibility and resolve.
The conference will feature three key panels:
- The Female Pixel – discussing equality, challenges, trust, and institutional changes for women in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- Not a Woman’s Business – about the challenges and achievements of Ukrainian women who have broken through traditional gender barriers and taken on leadership roles in sectors long considered “male-dominated.”
- Invisible Female Feat – about the unseen daily care of wives and mothers searching for relatives in captivity and caring for husbands and sons with disabilities — about strength and patience that never make it to the covers.
Among the invited speakers are:
- Oksana Zholnovych, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine
- Alina Mykhailova, military officer and head of the medical service of the “Ulf” unit of the Da Vinci Wolves Battalion
- Iryna Huk, Director of the Leleka Foundation, and others
Language of the event: Ukrainian with simultaneous English interpretation.
Come. Listen. Spread the word.
