On September 9, 2026, tech business association Diia.City United will host FutureTech MeetUp: InvestDay, a large-scale event examining the investment cycle from two sides: the company preparing for a funding round, and the investor deciding whether to back it.
A strong product is only the starting point. Investors weigh it just as closely against the team, the market, the ambition of its leadership, the company’s ability to execute the stated strategy and to turn capital into sustainable growth.
The exclusive FutureTech event will guide through the journey — from the decision to raise capital and the first investor contact through to closing the deal and managing business once the founding round is closed.
Speakers include leading founders, global investors, and government officials:
- Oksana Ferchuk, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine
- Oleksandr Kravchenko, Minister of Economy and Environment of Ukraine
- Andy Hunder, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine
- Augie K. Fabela II, Chairman of the Board, VEON
- Viktoriya Tigipko, Founder and Managing Partner, TA Ventures, and Member of the Diia.City
- Vlad Tislenko, Partner, SMRK VC Fund
- Andrii Bezverkhyi, Co-founder, SOC Prime
- Anton Avrynskyi, CEO and Co-founder, Liki24.com
InvestDay will bring together C-level executives at tech companies, founders at every stage from pre-seed to Series A+, private investors, leaders of venture and investment funds, government officials, representatives of international financial organizations, embassies of Ukraine’s partner countries, industry media, and business associations.
On the agenda:
- How investors access a company’s investment readiness, weighing risk against potential
- What a business needs to show at each stage of fundraising
- The common mistakes that stall deals before due diligence even begins
- How founders and investors can align their expectations, language, and decision-making
- How a leader’s role — and how the company is run — changes once capital comes
The evening will close with informal networking among the market’s leading players.
