Session of questions and answers on the selection procedure for the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine
The competition for the positions of members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges (HQCJ) began on February 4, 2022. On the occasion of «equator» of the first stage of the selection process, the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA), jointly with the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, invite you to participate in an event dedicated to the status of the application process, and to answering questions of potential candidates.
The event will be held online on 15 February 2022, from 17:00 to 18:30 Kyiv time.

Background information:
High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine is a judicial governance body responsible for selection and evaluation of judges. The doors of the Commission are open to lawyers with at least fifteen years of experience who meet the criteria of integrity and professional competence and speak the state language.
Ukrainian Bar Association is a non-governmental, non-profit organization which unites lawyers from all areas of the legal profession in Ukraine. Since its establishment in 2002, UBA’s goal is to promote adherence to the rule of law in Ukraine and development of the legal profession. To this end, UBA conducts legal research and analysis, monitors progress of implementation of various legislative acts and processes in the justice system and beyond, organizes conferences, round tables and other events aimed at discussion of legislation and practices in a given field, and advocates for sustainable development of the justice sector and for protection of rights of members of the profession.
