Brave1 Brings Together Global Defense Tech Leaders at Defense Tech Valley 2026 in Lviv
Brave1, with the support of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, will host Defense Tech Valley 2026. The event will take place on 16–17 September in Lviv, bringing together leading players in the defense sector from over 50 countries.
Ukraine is where a new defense doctrine is being forged. We possess unique expertise that no other country can claim. Technologies the rest of the world still describes as "futuristic" are being turned into practical, battlefield-proven solutions by Ukrainian manufacturers — solutions that are actively changing the course of the war. Through its rapid innovation cycle, Ukraine has become a drone superpower and is making a significant contribution to global security.
At Defense Tech Valley 2026, we will gather global defense industry leaders, investors, and government officials to usher in a new era of security. The event will serve as a platform for scaling Ukrainian solutions to the global level.
We expect over 7,000 participants from more than 50 countries. The focus will be on unmanned systems, interceptor drones, artificial intelligence, and electronic warfare.
Defense Tech Valley 2026 will also feature Battle Proven — a competition for defense and dual-use startups. Ukrainian developers whose technologies are already actively deployed at the front, or are planned for frontline use within the coming year, are eligible to participate. Last year, Defense Tech Valley 2025 brought together over 5,000 participants from 50+ countries, including leading venture funds, technology end-users, and representatives of Ukrainian and international defense companies. The event saw the announcement of a record investment round of $100 million into Ukrainian defense technologies.
Over 100 speakers took the stage, including Minister of Defence Mykhailo Fedorov, CEO of Turkey's Baykar Defence Haluk Bayraktar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Colonel Andriy Lebedenko, head of the Come Back Alive foundation Taras Chmut, commander of unit K-2 Kyrylo Veres, commander of the 427th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment Oleh "Khasan" Huyt, and many others.
