During the session, the participants discovered the consequences of the concept of human dignity for interpersonal communication, the formation of general ethical norms, and socio-political, business, and economic processes. We also told about how the concept of human dignity has influenced the formation of modern human rights theory and analyzed the issue of solidarity and its significance in the context of human dignity.

Yuriy Pidlisniy, Ph.D., Chair of the Political Science Department and Director of the BA Political Science Program "Ethics-Politics-Economics" at the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU). Since October 1998, Yuriy has been working at the Ukrainian Catholic University in different positions: Founding Director of the Institute for Marriage and Family, Director of the UCU Library, teaching philosophical courses on various programs and departments.
