Otokoç Otomotiv founded in 1928 and is one of the oldest automotive company in Turkey.
Otokoç Otomotiv Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. was formed in 22 June 2001 by merging six companies in a one legal entity.
In 2005 was signed the agreement about using Avis brand for car rental operations in Turkey.
In 2007 in Turkey licence agreement for car rental, using trade mark Budget was signed and operation started.
In 2017 Otokoc established his own company «Otokoc Ukraine» LLC and has a right to use TM Budget in Ukraine. Company provides car rental, vehicles leasing and transportation services and is the official importer of OPET lubricants in Ukraine.
In 2018 Otokoc Otomotive has its operations in Leasing and Car rental in 9 countries: Turkey, Azerbaijan, Northern Iraq, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Georgia, Northern Cyprus ,Ukraine and Greece.
