Recently GOLDBECK SOLAR has made the strategic decision to enter the Ukrainian market with the goal to develop and construct up to 500 MWp of solar photovoltaic capacity over the next 3 to 5 years. The company has already achieved several key milestones, including the establishment of a joint venture, GOLDBECK SOLAR Investment Ukraine GmbH, with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Additionally, GOLDBECK SOLAR Investment secured a EUR 5 million loan from Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG) and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy, further solidifying its commitment to collaboration and strengthening its market position.
