Olam operations in the Ukraine commenced in 2005 and today it is a leading supplier of cocoa products and cocoa beans to major local confectioneries as well as the biggest exporter of dry dairy products and growing ambitious exporter of different grains including feed and milling wheat, feed barley and corn. In particular, we are the leaders in cocoa powders supply from our factories in Spain and Germany, cocoa liquors from Ivory Coast and Ghana, cocoa butters from Ivory Coast and the Netherlands. Acting as a strategic partner for local confectionery, food and trade companies, we also supply hazelnuts, peanuts and cashews from our own factories in Turkey, India, Vietnam and Argentina, specialty fats from the United Kingdom, spices and dairy products. Our understanding of complex import and export procedures provides strong logistics support as well as flexibility in delivery terms ensuring a high level of customer responsiveness. Having expanded its product portfolio to include grain in 2011 Olam actively develops grain export operations from Ukraine to Africa, Middle and Far East. Grains business has acquired Silo “Bila Tserkva” in Kiev region as an asset providing direct access to the farmers.
