Imperial Tobacco Group is the owner of the Kyiv Tobacco Factory, the oldest in the country, established back in 1861. Imperial Tobacco in Ukraine is the largest production company in Kyiv and the third largest tobacco manufacturer in Ukraine. Imperial Tobacco is the largest British company in Ukraine and is widely recognised as the tenth largest tax payer in the country. Since 1994, the Company has invested significantly in its people, its brands and its facilities. In fact, total direct foreign investments just to manufacturing amounted to more than USD 150 mln.
Last year the company sold 24,1 bln sticks. Main family brands include Davidoff, R1, West, Prima.
The most successful Imperial brand is Prima with a compound brand family share of 13%, making it the biggest brand family on Ukrainian market.
