On July 24, 2020 Chamber Food & Beverage Committee met online with Mykola Moroz, General Director of the Directorate for Food Safety and Quality, Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
Meeting’s participants discussed the following issues:
1. Current status of the draft legislative acts in the sphere of food industry, developed by the Ministry;
2. Clarification on application of some provisions of the Law regarding information for consumers regarding food products (expiration date marking, etc.).
As a result, it was agreed to provide Chamber members’ feedback on practical issues arising while implementing the mentioned Law and which need to be additionally clarified by the Ministry.
