In response, the Council of Europe, Ukraine, and their international partners have established a Register of Damage for Ukraine and the forthcoming International Claims Commission for Ukraine. Serhiy Yaroshenko, Partner, Boulders, Kyiv. Serhiy has 15 years of experience in international arbitration and cross-border litigation. Has acted as counsel in over 30 complex disputes and arbitrations at leading fora under arbitration rules of LCIA, ICC, SIAC, SCC, VIAC, and UNCITRAL. Leads the firm's contentious practice and has been a fellow of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association since 2016.
Hugh Meighen, Partner, Borden Ladner Gervais. Hugh is an internationally recognized arbitration lawyer with more than 15 years of experience representing clients in complex international and domestic arbitrations. He has acted in high-value disputes under the ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, ICDR and other arbitral rules, in disputes arising around the world. Hugh also served as Assistant Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, supporting international investment arbitrations. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of the ICC Commission Canada, and co-author of the Guide to the PCA Arbitration Rules.
Natalia Vandervoort, Counsel, Borden Ladner Gervais. Natalia's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and business disputes. She regularly advises corporations, financial institutions, investment dealers, directors and officers on high-stakes litigation, regulatory investigations, and proceedings before securities regulators. She also serves as Vice President of the Ukrainian Canadian Bar Association, reflecting her longstanding engagement with the Ukrainian community.
Nadiia Yashan, Of-Counsel, Boulders, London. Nadiia is a London of-counsel of the cross-border dispute resolution practice group and is qualifying as a solicitor of England and Wales via the SQE. She is an experienced practitioner in LCIA-administered arbitration proceedings and cross-border disputes in English and Swiss courts.
Zoriana Voloshyn, Associate, Boulders, Kyiv. Zoriana is an associate of the cross-border dispute resolution practice group and specialises in international arbitration and trade.
