Sayenko Kharenko announces the launch of its annual charitable initiative “Christmas Miracle Starts with You”.
Since russia’s full-scale invasion, every Christmas in Ukraine has been a battle between darkness and light. Between exhaustion and faith. Between despair and hope. But we continue to believe in miracles — because we create them ourselves. With hands that tremble but don’t fall. With hearts that ache but keep beating. With resilience that asks no permission.
This year, we speak about defence — about those who stand between us and the darkness. Ukrainian soldiers who stay awake so we can sleep. Who hold the line so we can dream. Without them, there is no tomorrow. Without them, there is no us.
Four organisations, from frontline to recovery:
We’re focusing on supporting Ukraine’s defence through four organisations working across the full spectrum — from active combat to veteran rehabilitation:
425th Separate UAV Battalion
A drone warfare unit specialising in aerial reconnaissance and enemy elimination using various types of unmanned systems. They develop specialised software for all Ukrainian Defence Forces, creating technological solutions that save lives every day on the front lines.
3rd Separate Reconnaissance Battalion
Conducts special reconnaissance operations in the immediate proximity to the contact line. The battalion includes a UAV company conducting reconnaissance and strikes using loitering munitions, multirotor, and fixed-wing drones. The unit provides critical intelligence to the entire corps and eliminates enemy targets in the most dangerous zones.
“Vidchaidushni” Charitable Organisation
A team of frontline volunteer chaplains has been operating since 2014 in all regions where combat occurs. They save lives where every second counts: extracting wounded soldiers from under fire, delivering medical aid, evacuating both military personnel and civilians from hot zones. Since the full-scale invasion, their vehicles have evacuated over 10,000 military personnel and approximately 40 civilians. The team has delivered over 200 evacuation vehicles to the front.
DoLadu Mental Health Lab
Creates a comprehensive mental health ecosystem for defenders, veterans, and their families. Works with international protocols in partnership with the Israeli Trauma Coalition. Conducts rehabilitation camps in nature, trains veterans through the “Equal – Equal” programme. The organisation works not only with trauma but with post-traumatic growth — helping heroes find themselves after war and regain a sense of wholeness.
The initiative takes the form of an advent calendar:
25 days — 25 opportunities to change someone’s life. Each day from 1st to 25th December, a new “window” opens with a specific need:
- Drone batteries
- CAT tourniquets for medics
- Heaters for positions
- Psychological support for veterans
- Electronic warfare systems for evacuation vehicles
- Equipment for pilots
Every donation isn’t abstract help. It’s a specific battery providing 30 minutes of reconnaissance. A tourniquet that stops bleeding. A psychologist consultation for a veteran who can’t sleep without nightmares.
True miracles aren’t magic — they’re made by people who refuse to give up. With their hands, their hearts, and their decision to stand alongside. This Christmas, become part of the miracle that saves lives, returns hope, and brings victory closer.
