The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine met with the leadership of the Export Credit Agency of Ukraine (ECA), represented by Ruslan Hashev, Chairman of the Management Board, and Kristina Padalka, Member of the Management Board.
ECA presented its updated portfolio of instruments designed to support Ukrainian exporters, including:
- Insurance against war and political risks to safeguard export operations;
- Guarantee instruments for SMEs to expand access to finance;
- Development of joint programs with commercial banks to strengthen export credit and trade finance tools.
AmCham members discussed practical aspects of accessing ECA products, eligibility criteria, and cooperation with Ukrainian and international financial institutions. Participants also emphasized the importance of transparent procedures and expanding support for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Particular attention was paid to the integration of ECA instruments into Ukraine’s broader recovery and relocation initiatives, including insurance coverage for investment risks related to production relocation and exports from new industrial parks.
