Kyiv, October 29, 2025 โ A two-day international online seminar โ๐๐ฅ๐ท๐ข๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ๐ช๐ฆ๐ด ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ช๐ณ ๐๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ณ๐ช๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ช๐ค๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด โ ๐๐ฐ๐ธ๐ข๐ณ๐ฅ ๐๐ฏ๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ฐ๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ฃ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ธ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ ๐๐ฌ๐ณ๐ข๐ช๐ฏ๐ช๐ข๐ฏ ๐๐ ๐๐ณ๐ฐ๐ง๐ฆ๐ด๐ด๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ดโ brought together leading experts, academics, and students from ๐๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป, ๐ฃ๐ผ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ, and ๐จ๐ธ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ to discuss the latest innovations in information technology and their applications across industry and education.
Organized by ๐๐๐ฆ โ ๐๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฝ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ, ๐๐๐ฑ. in partnership with BDO in Ukraine as the local coordinator under the Ukrainian IT Human Resource Development Support Project supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the event became a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration between Ukrainian and international IT communities.
At its peak, the webinar gathered ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฐ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ ๐๐ถ๐บ๐๐น๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ๐ผ๐๐๐น๐, including representatives of Ukrainian universities, professors, students, and IT professionals.
Before the event, BDO in Ukraine supported JDS in completing a targeted survey among ๐๐ง ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐น๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ฝ ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ธ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐, identifying their current needs, challenges, and priorities for international cooperation. The insights from this research shaped the programโs agenda, ensuring its practical value for academia and industry alike.
BDO in Ukraine was also in charge of the organization and moderation of the webinar, led by Vira Savchenko, who guided both days of the event and moderated the discussions with international speakers.
The first day featured two thematic tracks โ Technical Track and Industry and Society Track โ focused on innovation in IT and its integration into real-world contexts. Professors and experts covered topics such as quantum technology, bioinformatics, factory science, and Metaverse and city promotion.
The session was opened with welcoming remarks from Mr. Vitaliy Nosok, Head of the Expert Group on Technological Development, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The second day focused on Business Collaboration and International Collaborative Education.ย Representatives from companies in the field of drug discovery, IT/AI, and heating/ventilation, professors, and governmental agencies demonstrated how technological expertise and academic cooperation can jointly support Ukraineโs reconstruction and digital transformation.
The event concluded with an announcement of the upcoming training program for university lecturers โ โImplementation of Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) within the JICA Initiative,โ starting in November 2025.
