This autumn, the Lviv Brewery celebrates its 310th anniversary. But instead of lavish festivities, the company chose to unite for those who save lives every day.
To mark the brewery’s milestone, FC Karpaty whose title sponsor is the Lvivske brand, and the UNBROKEN Center launched a fundraising campaign called “The T-Shirt That Saves.” All funds raised will go toward purchasing advanced medical simulators for the Higher Medical School of the UNBROKEN University. These simulators will help train a new generation of doctors.
“In conditions as close to reality as possible, medical professionals will practice life-saving skills on simulators: stopping bleeding, performing resuscitation, and providing care for combat injuries. After completing such training, every participant will be prepared for any emergency. And in those critical moments when every second counts they will act confidently and professionally,” — noted the First Medical Association of Lviv.
The campaign culminated in a football match, where Oleksii Sheretko a veteran and an employee of the Lviv Brewery made the symbolic first pass.
“For us, this is more than just a pass. It’s a reminder of the importance of gratitude and respect for all defenders who have protected and continue to protect our country. It’s a reminder of who makes it possible for us to live. The first pass is a symbol of unity and support, our way of saying ‘thank you’ to those who fight for our future every day. Every contribution to this campaign is another step toward saving lives,” — commented Yurii Huk, Director of the Lviv Brewery.
For donations starting at ₴100, participants and FC Karpaty fans had the chance to win one of 15 jerseys signed by team players. The total amount raised is ₴1,167,000.
