| The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine is delighted to announce the beginning of the nomination period for the 2026 Board of Directors, which starts today, Monday, October 27, and will end at 5:00 PM local Kyiv time on Tuesday, November 11.
Each Director shall serve a term of 2 years and may be re-elected. The term of office of a Director shall terminate upon the expiry of such a two-year term. This year, our members will vote to elect 10 Members to the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, who will serve throughout a two-year term. According to the Chamber Bylaws, there shall be not less than six (6) and not more than sixteen (16) Directors. The following 6 Board members continue serving for one more year of a two-year term, continuing to deliver the voice of business as they identify the strategy and the vision of companies' priorities and needs in 2026: |

Excerpt from the Chamber Bylaws concerning qualifications for Board of Directors nominations:
"Only an employee who holds the highest representative position of a member company in good standing can be nominated to run for the Chamber Board of Directors. Any employee of a member company in good standing may nominate a candidate."
Nominations must be received via email bodelections@chamber.ua on scanned member company official letterhead starting on Monday, October 27 and finishing on Tuesday, November 11, 5:00 PM local Kyiv time to be included in the online election page. Any nominations received before the opening date or after the closing date will not be considered.
Serving on the Board of Directors is your opportunity to have a direct impact on the future of your organization. The current Board of Directors encourages all member companies in good standing to run for the 2026 Board of Directors. |

Criteria for a successful candidate:
- ability to devote time to monthly Board meetings and attend relevant Chamber events
- willingness to take a leadership position in ensuring the Chamber Committee agendas are productive and pertinent to the Chamber goals and objectives
- ability to represent the Chamber at a senior level in meetings and discussions with Ukrainian and international government policymakers
