AmCham Healthcare Steering Committee members met with Maryna Slobodnichenko, Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine for European Integration.
The discussion was focused on:
- formation of the new pharmaceutical authority’s budget, transparency of businesses’ contributions to this budget, and ensuring the credibility of the new institution in the pharmaceutical sector;
- expectations from the EU Commission’s Twinning project;
- investment climate for healthcare companies in Ukraine;
- strategic development of the pharmaceutical industry, including raw material production;
- critical issues with transition periods for implementing the new technical regulations on medical devices;
- ideas for public-private partnerships in disease diagnostics.
