Connectivity of Ukraine - the gateway to Europe
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Mdm. Yulia Svyrydenko together with Deputy Prime Minister, Peter Kmec have decided to take a patronage of Slovak – Ukrainian Business Forum 2024. The Forum is also being established in the context of the of the adopted Framework for Slovakia's Engagement in Ukraine's Reconstruction. The Forum happens also together with Intergovernmental Commission for economic collaboration between Slovak Republic and Ukraine.
The main line of the Forum
The main line of the Forum is CONCURRENCY. The Forum will create a space for Slovak and Ukrainian businesses, EU and international actors to find a space for CONECTIVITY of Ukraine with the Slovak Republic and the European Union at different levels. In particular, the Forum is a gateway for the establishment of Slovak and Ukrainian cooperation for the business environment, and the relationship between the state and the business environment. The primary focus of the Forum is to harmonize and link business relations between Ukraine and Slovakia. The main theme of the Forum is also the expansion and strengthening of business cooperation and economic ties between Ukraine and the Slovak Republic.
Objectives and desired results
The aim of the Forum is to maximize synergies and create a real platform for exchange of experience, technologies and business opportunities.
The main objectives of the Forum include:
To strengthen business ties between Slovak and Ukrainian companies and enterprises. To present initiatives and policies of the Slovak Republic in relation to Ukraine and its future development. To present the financial support provided by the Slovak Republic to Ukraine and to strengthen the dialogue between actors. Promote activities in the framework of Slovak-Ukrainian trade relations.
