The global Food Law Network has launched the World Map of Food Law, which provides an overview of food law in more than 20 countries, including Ukraine.
As a long-standing member of the FLN, Arzinger's Food &Beverage team contributed to the map and prepared a brief overview of Ukrainian legislation, which currently includes material on: country of origin requirements for food, definitions of the terms "vegetarian" and "vegan", food fortification, and the use of cannabis as an ingredient in food or supplements.
In the future, the map will be updated with other relevant topics in food regulation. With the help of the World Map of Food Law, companies operating in this field can quickly and conveniently learn about the relevant regulations in different countries, which will help them develop their business in other markets.
