Speakers:
Artem Luchnikov, Special Advisor on Military Law, MORIS. Major General Luchnikov has over 30 years of combat and management experience in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since October 2011, he has served as the head of operations of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade of the 6th Army Corps. Since 2014, Artem has participated in the russian-Ukrainian War as part of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade of the 6th Army Corps. From 2021 to 2024, he held the position of head of the main personnel department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He is a veteran of the russian-Ukrainian War.
Rostyslav Sobotnyk, Lawyer, Attorney-at-Law, MORIS. Rostyslav Sobotnyk has over 13 years of experience in the legal field. He specializes in dispute resolution in complex litigation and is an intellectual property, migration, family, and labor law expert. Rostyslav has deep expertise in military law and has been actively defending the rights of military personnel since 2022. He has been a practicing attorney since 2014 and is the author of numerous articles on military-related topics. Additionally, he has authored several academic publications on liability insurance for harm caused by sources of increased danger. Rostyslav has been part of the MORIS team since 2009 and is a member of the advisory board of the UBA Committee on Military Law.
