The meeting was devoted to discussion of the acute issues of customs clearance procedures:
- Movement of goods, vehicles under customs control. Common transit procedure (NCTS, phase 5)
- Protection of intellectual property rights
- Hints and tips for reduction of risks of disputes with customs authorities (for example, regarding violation of customs rules related to improper use of import tax exemptions)
- Amendments to the Criminal Code regarding the criminalization of smuggling of excise goods and commodity smuggling
- Renewal of documentary checks by customs authorities
