“Today, in times of economic crisis and social turbulence, every business is going through difficult times. Companies are facing a challenging task to maintain production capacity and financial turnover as well as to save jobs. The attitude towards your team is an indicator of decency” said in his Easter address to employees Alexander Lopatin, a founder of ITW Systems.
“Our team is our most valuable resource. Employee safety and health is a top priority for us. We are doing our best to support our employees during this difficult time, ”stated Alexander Lopatin.
Due to the epidemic, ITW Systems had to change a number of business processes, and though there were additional costs and certain inconveniences, we took several measures to protect our employees:
- Where possible, we transferred people to remote work. At the moment, all our office employees work from home;
- the company continues to pay salaries to everyone;
- Workflows and safety protocols have been changed to allow employees working in the factory to continue working safely: we have supplied masks, gloves, antiseptic, provide transportation, we have reduced number of people per shift, which allows maintaining of a safe social distance;
- We constantly monitor the situation and are ready to respond promptly if/when necessary.
“It is certainly difficult to predict how events will develop, how long this situation will last, and how, as a result, it will affect the business. But we do not lose optimism. We were able to sustain and retain the team during the events of 2013-2014, and now we also have a plan to quickly resume production once the situation stabilizes. And most importantly, we have a loyal and dedicated team, and this is always the key to success, ” emphasize in the company.
At ITW Systems, employee health is now our top priority. The rest is secondary. The main task for the company today is to cope with the virus and its consequences without sacrificing product quality.
The main objective for us today is to cope with the virus and its consequences and to save the company.
