G4S Risk Management Group is a specialist protective services business within G4S, operating across its entire international network of more than 85 countries - including G4S Ukraine. The G4S Risk Management Group consists of various business units, including G4S Ordnance Management (G4S OM) and G4S Risk Management Specialist Projects unit, which is focused on developing business in Ukraine. Each business works closely with one another, sharing lessons learned, resources, capabilities, and expertise to provide our clients with cost-effective risk management support, tailored to their needs and requirements.
G4S has unparalleled experience of demining in post-conflict areas which is demonstrated through its clearance of explosive hazards in areas of Northern Iraq and South Sudan to name only two locations. Our experience here ranged from Battle Area Clearance, including unexploded ordnance (UXO) and improvised explosive devices (IED). Across Iraq G4S safely cleared explosive hazards from villages, schools, tarmacked roads, and open areas. Leaning on this experience and knowledge, G4S is well placed to support Ukraine with its Emergency Mine Action response. With G4S’ removal of explosive hazards in Ukraine, the local population will be able to begin rebuilding the damaged national infrastructure, the local environment, and their lives. The clearance of agricultural lands will allow Ukraine to resume its extension exportation of produce and goods, aiding the recovery and strengthening of the Ukrainian economy.
