INTEGRITES has contributed new and updated content for the section on Ukraine published in the Clean Energy Tool by the international law firm Simmons & Simmons. The section includes updates on land acquisition and permits, grid access, revenue (routes to market), dispute resolution, structuring and finance as well as a brand new section on the hydrogen sector in Ukraine. Updates include details of changes necessitated by the declaration of martial law following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
Covering approximately 70 jurisdictions and growing, the Clean Energy Tool is an online resource hub which provides in-depth legal and regulatory information on renewable energy projects and clean energy infrastructure to international investors, developers, lenders and other market players. The information is published as a multi-jurisdictional directory giving subscribers a way to analyse and compare data, as well as to facilitate investor decision making. Each chapter is developed in collaboration with top-tier local counsel selected by Simmons & Simmons throughout Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
INTEGRITES is also pleased working with Simmons & Simmons on the Strategy Council’s Ukrainian Energy Transformation Forum, which will be hosted at Simmons & Simmons offices in London on 20 April 2023.
Led by the Managing partner, Dr. Oleksiy Feliv, the team working on the Ukraine updates for the Clean Energy Tool included partners Igor Krasovskiy, Dmytro Marchukov, and Serhii Uvarov, counsel Olena Savchuk, senior associates Serhii Datsiv, Tetiana Storozhuk, Dmytro Kiselyov, and Konstantin Kharchenko, associate Vitaly Labadin.
