With the beginning of the war, the main focus of Sigma Software was to keep our people safe, provide health and mental support, and help those who were forced to relocate, and those who joined the army. Now we can say that even in the most difficult times at Sigma Software, we were able to fully restore operations and return to pre-war processes within days of hostilities, grow our business and contribute to our country and community.
Together with our clients, partners, and specialists, we’ve donated $3 500 000 to the army and humanitarian needs.
We invested our time and expertise in products that support our people both in Ukraine and abroad. We`ve developed the chatbot «Kharkiv is your home» ( "Харків - Твій дім"), so that people could get information about the conditions of the buildings in Kharkiv; our team created portal Swedes for Ukraine, https://swedesforukraine.org, that helps Ukrainians to find a shelter in Sweden; we also localized for Ukraine our client’s application Bezyl, that helps people who suffer from PTSD.
We support each of our volunteers and specialists who serve in the Army and help to cover their needs on the front line.
Also, we launched a program for mental health and computer literacy support for children “Star for life”, free training for university teachers, and all who want to start a new career - switchers and students.
For our actions for the benefit of the state, we received 40 awards from the state, headquarters, individual brigades, military units, and charitable organizations.
We’ve opened offices in Argentina, Mexico, and Colombia became a new continent for us. In addition to Poland, Sweden, and Canada, we’ve set up our teams in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Portugal. Thus, our specialists who had to relocate got comfortable working conditions, community, and support.
In the Western regions of Ukraine, six new permanent development offices were open. The cities of Lutsk, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Uzhgorod, Ternopil, and Mukachevo. Our company works to contribute to the activities of local educational institutions and industry associations, as well as develop professional communities.
To support Ukrainian IT businesses, we’ve established the UA Tech Network, where we help small businesses get international clients. Our startup incubator, Sigma Software Labs, continues to work and support young businesses and bright minds.
In 2022, Sigma Software University, our educational platform, became a partner of the free IT education project — IT Generation, launched and supported by the government of Ukraine. The main goal of the project is to help talented Ukrainians find themselves in one of the most promising fields.
As a result, we grow as a business, keeping our clients happy with the NPS rate of 97 which is extremely high, and continue to develop and support Ukraine and Ukrainian IT.
