INTEGRITES acted as a lead legal counsel to General Сommerce LLC in connection with the privatization of JSC “First Kyiv Machine-Building Plant” (Bilshovyk Plant), in particular, on obtaining merger clearance for the privatization.
The case is one of the most prominent high-profile acquisitions within the large-scale privatization launched by the state of Ukraine several years ago. The auction took place on October 27, 2021. The estimated value of the transaction reached UAH 1.429 bln (USD 52 mln).
Founded in 1882, the Bilshovyk plant was one of the leading manufacturers of industrial equipment in Ukraine. The plant owns a 36-hectare land plot in Kyiv.
The team working on the project was led by Yaroslav Medvediev, Counsel of the Antitrust and Competition practice, under the supervision of the Senior partner Vyacheslav Korchev.
