The fact that Ukraine is a transit state on the map of Europe remains relevant, but the infrastructure providing the corresponding status requires significant renovation and development – it is being emphasized both by politicians and businesses, particularly regarding privatization and effective state property management in ports, airports, and on roads.
Within the notion of the "investment nannies" institute, it is the infusion into infrastructure facilities that should provide investors with additional state aid and support.
Hence, concession or privatization of infrastructure facilities, developing the capacities of ports, countering the state monopoly in the realm of roads and railways, as well as attracting and protecting investments – all these points require proper legal assistance.
A new Forum, organized by "Yuridicheskaya Praktika" — Business & Legal Infrastructure Forum, to be held on July 9, 2021 in Odessa, as well as its online format, will be devoted to the issues of investment attractiveness and legal protection of infrastructure facilities.
The Forum program includes special reports on the relaunch of infrastructure framework of Ukrainian economy and development of digital infrastructure, as well as discussions regarding the investment potential of Ukraine, practical aspects of implementation of necessary facilities and protection of infrastructure investments.
Representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Office of the President of Ukraine and the the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Business Ombudsman Council, People's Deputies of Ukraine, lawyers of leading law firms and legal advisers of prominent companies dealing with implementation of infrastructure projects in reality are invited to participate in the discussions.
