The functionality of the updated risk management and customs clearance systems is integrated with the NCTS system and is tested for interaction with NCTS. This was announced by Eugene Entis, Deputy Head of the State Customs Service for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization.
According to him, the declarations that are currently submitted to NCTS are made in the current system "Inspector" (risk analysis with the subsequent completion of customs formalities), but in test mode are duplicated in the updated systems - to test the pilot, which is scheduled to launch in the coming days.
It is expected that the updated automated risk management system will translate much of the data from paper to digital, and processes - from offline to online, as well as immediately understand the sources of risk that led to the generation of customs formalities, quickly assess the effectiveness of risk profiles, if necessary - promptly update the profile or suspend its operation. On April 8, its testing was started by the relevant departments of the State Customs Service.
