The last year has been significant in protecting intellectual property rights in the international supply of goods. In November 2019 new provisions of the Customs Code of Ukraine on protecting intellectual property rights came into force. It concerns the improvement of the procedure for detecting and stopping customs clearance of counterfeit goods while moving products across the customs border of Ukraine.
New terms and concepts of IP, international practice, a new procedure for maintaining the customs register of IPR, and a new procedure for interaction between business is the exact information, which business needs to know, to avoid delays at customs and protect their trademarks.
