The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine welcomes the adoption of amendmends to the CMU Resolution #400 “On Amendments to the Procedure for Booking of Conscripts According to the List of Persons Liable for Military Service During Martial Law” (resolution), by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on April 28.
According to this resolution, changes are made to the following:
- submission of lists to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for verification and approval in the period of no more than 5 working days;
- submission of lists to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine by the General Staff of the Armed Forces within no more than 10 working days;
- the Ministry of Economy’s decision on the reservation of conscripts within a period of no more than 5 working days.
Experts of AmCham Ukraine Human Capital Committee have been continuously emphasizing the importance of adoption of the respective amendments to the legislation and approval of the period of for verification of the list by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The adoption of the respective amendments will support the national economy in martial law's legal regime conditions.
