The authoritative international directory Global Competition Review 100 recognises Sayenko Kharenko in the “Elite” category. Sayenko Kharenko is one of three Ukrainian law firms to receive this recognition. GCR 100 also recognises partners Vladimir Sayenko, Maksym Nazarenko and Valentyna Hvozd.
The industry rating reflects Sayenko Kharenko’s success in challenging the Antimonopoly Committee’s nearly 30 million EUR fine against Japan Tobacco International (JTI) for allegedly conspiring with rival tobacco companies to prevent further market entry.
It also takes into account the firm’s other public work is on the merger side including steering Fiat Chrysler’s global merger with Peugeot SA. The GCR 100 also emphasises that Sayenko Kharenko acted for ADM, Bunge, Cargill, COFCO, Louis Dreyfus and Glencore Agriculture and advised Bel Group on the sale of its Bel Shostka Ukraine division to Lactalis Group.
