On February 24, 2022, the Mykolaiv Brewery was forced to stop production. The decision was necessary to keep employees safe. During the downtime, the plant was damaged: as a result of the rocket fire, 3 warehouses of the brewery were badly damaged, while the main warehouse was almost destroyed.
However, despite huge damages and the loss of part of the equipment, AB InBev Efes Ukraine did the main thing – saved the lives and health of employees.
"Before the launch of the brewery, they prepared responsibly: they carried out diagnostics, repairs, and commissioning of all production equipment. As of today, we are back up and running. We are sure that the success of the entire country depends on the daily work of each of us since the support of the economic and social front ensures the development of the economy of Ukraine and the well-being of people”, says the director of the brewery Oleksandr Balakhnov.
This week, journalists visited the production to see with their own eyes how the brewery works, because currently all three lines of the brewery (PET, glass 0.5 l, and KEGs) have already been fully restored and have started full production of the favorite brands of millions of Ukrainians: in particular, the much-awaited the return of the real legend of Mykolaiv – Yantar beer and other favorite brands, such as Bile, Bila Nich, Chernihivske Svitle, Titan and Rogan Traditional.
