The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, jointly with the Business Ombudsman Council, is glad to invite you to the upcoming Knowledge Webinar "BOC for Policy & Recovery: Navigating Risks and Engaging the Private Sector"The link to the webinar will be sent only to the registered participants.

The webinar will explore how the Business Ombudsman Council (BOC) supports Ukraine’s private sector in addressing war-related challenges and long-term recovery. Strengthening businesses is key to post-war renewal, prompting BOC to launch a new initiative focused on overcoming the consequences of Russia’s full-scale invasion and advancing EU integration. The Policy & Recovery team, led by Deputy Business Ombudsman Tetiana Korotka, includes economic policy, law, and engineering experts. The webinar benefits CEOs, top managers, and legal professionals from Ukrainian and international companies interested in national and regional recovery projects, fostering a resilient business environment in Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts.

Speakers:

Tetiana Korotka, Deputy Business Ombudsman in Ukraine. With over 20 years in governance and development, Tetiana Korotka specializes in inclusive growth and sustainable infrastructure. Before joining the Business Ombudsman Council, she led Ukraine’s public investment and infrastructure reforms as National Director of the international PPP Development Program. She has held senior roles at PZU Insurance Group and ING Life and advised Ukraine’s government and financial regulators on sector development in cooperation with international partners. Recognized for governance reforms, she was honored by Italy’s President and Ukraine’s Prime Minister.

Dmytro Polyanskyi, Senior Recovery Lead. Dmytro has over 16 years of experience in legal practice in leading international and national companies, managing a law office, working as a government relations manager at Naftogaz Group, and teaching legal disciplines at one of Ukraine's leading universities. He has successful experience in supporting international companies M&A processes, issuance process, supporting the current activities of enterprises with a foreign element, and bringing a number of holding companies to the Ukrainian market. He protected clients' interests in criminal cases and their representation in civil and commercial disputes. Prior to the Business Ombudsman Council, Dmytro was a consultant to the Reform Support Team under the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, where he participated in developing laws and by-laws aimed at implementing corporate governance reform in Ukraine, participated in developing Ukraine's Recovery Plan.

Olena Chorna, Senior Legal Manager. Prior to working in the Business Ombudsman Council, for over 7 years Olena was a consultant on various employment and corporate matters. She also participated in the projects related to public policy reforming. She joined the team of Business Ombudsman Council after PwC Ukraine, where she had been working for almost 6 years. Apart from that, Olena was also working at outsourcing company TMF Group. She was involved in different projects related to corporate debt restructuring, setting up a business in Ukraine and choosing the appropriate business model, including advising on complicated corporate governance structures, employment and liquidation procedures. Olena is a certified Attorney at Law.

Roman Homonets, Infrastructure Recovery Specialist. Before joining the Council, Roman worked in leading international construction companies. He was engaged in project management in the field of residential and commercial construction, and also worked at critical infrastructure facilities. Roman has a total of over nine years of experience in construction industry and two years in energy sector.

Iryna Tkachenko, Economic Analyst. Iryna has over 8 years of experience in analytical work and communications, specializing in economic analysis, market trend research, and developing recommendations for strategic planning. Previously, Iryna worked as a manager and analyst in the business sector, where she conducted market analysis, managed business operations, developed pricing strategies, and optimized processes to increase company efficiency and profitability. Her work included operations management, financial performance analysis, and implementation of staff training programs. She has extensive experience in creating reports, data visualization, and preparing materials for various audiences, working with both government institutions and the private sector.
